Chiang Mai University will host a national trade fair in May to showcase agricultural innovations of the country.<\/p>\n

Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Walailak will preside over the opening ceremony on May 1.<\/p>\n

The 800-rai Mae Hia Agricultural Research Station and Training Center at the Faculty of Agriculture, Chiang Mai University will be converted into a park featuring an exhibition of His Majesty the King\u2019s agricultural achievements, entertainment activities, a farmers\u2019 market, and agricultural innovations, including the first-ever car run by compressed biogas (CBG) produced from animal waste.<\/p>\n

The university will also unveil the new species of Gladiolus flower to honor the princess.<\/p>\n

The event will take place between May 1 and 10.<\/p>\n
